It’s always exciting to have a signature holiday drink recipe that always impresses guests. For me, that recipe is my go-to Non Alcoholic Christmas Punch, which I’ve been making for years.
The combination of cranberry juice, orange juice, holiday spiced sprite, rosemary, and mint creates a flavorful and refreshing drink that looks as festive as a Christmas tree. The floating lemon-orange slices and cranberries in the center add to the visual appeal, making it an eye-catching addition to any holiday gathering.
The best part is that this punch is so simple and quick to stir together, taking only five minutes to make. Despite its simplicity, the bubbly and festive drink is light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, making it a great option for those who prefer a less sugary beverage.
This gorgeous holiday punch can be prepared by the glass, pitcher or punch bowl.
Overall, this Non Alcoholic Christmas Punch is a perfect choice to liven up any holiday party and impress your guests.
Ingredients Required –
Below is the ingredients list and possible substitutions. The exact ingredient amounts are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Cranberry Juice – make sure to look for a 100% juice blend. This means a blend of cranberry, apple, grape, and other juices instead of just cranberry juice alone. Avoid cranberry juice cocktails, which typically only contain about 20% juice with added sugar. Using a 100% juice blend ensures that your punch is tasty. Don’t use 100% cranberry only juice it’s much too tart.
- Orange Juice – I prefer Pulp free orange juice, especially for this drink. Feel free to use with pulp.
- Orange and Lime Slices – For a hint of citrus and beautiful color.
- Rosemary and Mint – Adds refreshing flavors.
- Cranberries – Fresh cranberries are very important here. It not only looks pretty and fresh but it also adds holiday vibes to the drink.
- Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry – This special holiday edition adds dynamic flavors. You may use any flavored Sprite. Or you can also use sparkling water or club soda with simple syrup.
How to make Non-alcoholic Christmas Punch?
- Mix Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice, Lime Slices, Orange Slices, Rosemary, Mint leaves and cranberries in a big jar or punch bowl.
- When you are ready to serve, add ice cubes and Sprite.
- That’s it!
Make it look extra fancy and festive
For an extra festive touch, you can create an ice ring by scattering cranberries and orange slices, or a mix of sliced oranges, lemons, rosemary, mint, and limes, in the bottom of a bundt pan and covering them with water. Make sure to use filtered or boiled water for the clearest ice. Transfer the pan to the freezer and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight. Once frozen, unmold the ice ring (you can run the pan under hot water to loosen it if needed) and transfer it to a punch bowl for a beautiful presentation.
Note and pro-tips
- Add soda and ice just before serving so it doesn’t start to go flat.
- For best results, make sure the ingredients are cold when you mix them so the ice lasts longer and don’t water down the punch.
- For an extra fun garnish, freeze orange slices, lime slices, fresh cranberries, rosemary, mint leaves and water in a bundt pan to make an ice ring! When ready to serve, de-mold the ice ring, place it in a punch bowl and pour the juice and soda over it.
- You can use Ginger Ale, 7UP, sparkling water or club soda too instead of Sprite.
- For smaller gatherings you can definitely half the recipe if needed.
- You can easily turn this easy Christmas punch into a cocktail by adding some rum, vodka, or alcohol of choice for the extra holiday spirit!
- Don’t skip the garnishes, they add to the festive look!! Just be sure to remove the cranberries while serving to kids to prevent choking hazards.
