This Instant Pot Caprese Pasta is all about the ingredients cooked in the same pot, the quickest, scrumptious pasta meal you will ever make. This dish takes all the amazing flavors of the Caprese salad and combines them in a delicious, 10 to 15 minutes meal.

This Caprese Pasta in Instant pot is all about the ingredients cooked in the same pot, the quickest, scrumptious pasta meal you will ever make. This dish takes all the amazing flavors of the Caprese salad and combines them in a delicious, 10 to 15 minutes meal. This pasta dish has all the traditional ingredients - Tomatoes, basil, Mozzarella, Olive oil and Balsamic. And the very best part of this dish - Its all made in one pot, Instant pot. Notes - 1. I use Penne pasta for this one pot meal but you can use any type of pasta you'd like. 2. You can add vegetable broth instead of water. 3. Although fresh mozzarella is a must in a Caprese psta, you could substitute shreadded mozzarella or any cheese. 4. I didn't have the grape tomatoes, so I used Roma tomatoes. Use grape tomatoes for better taste. 5. I haven't added any onion or garlic in this recipe because I used pasta sauce which already had the garlic and onions in it. 6. If you dont have fresh basil, you can use dried one too. Use ¼ tsp. Looking for more Instant pot recipes?? I am going to share all the method for ya. :) Ingredients Pasta - 225 grams Pasta sauce - 1 and ½ cup Basil leaves - 5 to 6 + For garnishing Olive oil - 2 tablespoon Salt to taste Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning - ½ teaspoon Mozzarella cheese Chopped tomatoes - 2 medium Water 2 cups Direction How to make Caprese Pasta in Instant Pot?? 1. Press the saute button. Heat oil in a pot. 2. Add all the ingredients one by one except Mozzarella cheese and balsamic vinegar. 3. Mix well 4. Turn off the saute button. 5. Set the Instant Pot to Manual o for 5 minutes on high pressure with pressure valve set to sealing. 6. Quick release the pressure. 7. Open the lid and give it a quick stir. 8. Take this pasta out in serving plate, add cheese, balsamic and basil leaves. 9. Serve hot with your choice of crusty bread and Salad. Enjoy. How to make Caprese pasta in Pressure cooker?? 1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. 2. Add all the ingredients one by one except Mozzarella cheese and balsamic vinegar. 3. Mix well 4. Close the pressure cooker 5. Take 2 whistles. 6. Let the pressure cools down completely. 7. Open the lid and give it a quick stir. 8. Take this pasta out in serving plate, add cheese, balsamic and basil leaves. 9. Serve hot with your choice of crusty bread and Salad. Enjoy. How to make Caprese pasta in Pan?? 1. Heat oil in a pan. 2. Important Tips –

  • I use Penne pasta for this one-pot meal but you can use any type of pasta you’d like.
  • You can add vegetable broth instead of water.
  • Although fresh mozzarella is a must in a Caprese pasta, you could substitute shredded mozzarella or any cheese.
  • I didn’t have the grape tomatoes, so I used Roma tomatoes. Use grape tomatoes for better taste.
  • I haven’t added any onion or garlic in this recipe because I used pasta sauce which already had the garlic and onions in it.
  • If you don’t have fresh basil, you can use dried ones too. Use ¼ tsp.

3. Mix well

4. Turn off the saute button.

5. Set the Instant Pot to Manual o for 5 minutes on high pressure with pressure valve set to sealing.

6. Quick-release the pressure.

7. Open the lid and give it a quick stir.

8. Take this pasta out in a serving plate, add cheese, balsamic and basil leaves.

9.  Instant Pot Caprese Pasta is ready. Serve hot with your choice of crusty bread and Salad. Enjoy.

How to make Caprese pasta in Traditional Pressure cooker??

1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.

2. Add all the ingredients one by one except Mozzarella cheese and balsamic vinegar.

3. Mix well

4. Close the pressure cooker

5. Take 2 whistles.

6. Let the pressure cools down completely.

7. Open the lid and give it a quick stir.

8. Take this pasta out in a serving plate, add cheese, balsamic and basil leaves.

9. Serve hot with your choice of crusty bread and Salad. Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 225 grams Pasta Any Pasta of your choice
  • 1 and ½ cupa Pasta sauce
  • Basil leaves

    Looks great…in the directions it says add balsamic but is not listed in the ingredients. How much is used?
