Farali Pattice is a Gujarati recipe that is made during fasts. In this recipe, freshly grated coconut and ginger chili paste are used. I have used cashews and raisins as well.

You can eat this Farali Pattice with sweet curd, green chutney or peanut and ginger chili chutney. I like Farali Pattice with peanut chutney.

Later in this recipe, I have shown how to make peanut chutney. The pattice is traditionally fried but being a lover of healthy non-fried food, I am sharing the procedure to make Farali Pattice in APPE PAN. You may fry this pattice to suit your taste.

But believe me, you won’t get any taste difference-making pattice in Appe Pan.
