Hey, there!! How are you??

Do you know September is National Organic Harvest Month??!! It is also called Organic Food Celebration month. Organic means that the products have no pesticides are more environmentally friendly, and also have a high level of animal welfare. Organic products do not just make difference to the environment but also to your own well being. Plus I think meals taste better with the organic products.

Summer is almost over in Arizona. The weather is getting better and it’s the right time to organize a blockbuster Block Party. Yeyyy….. What better way to meet the neighbors and make new friends!! You also get to sample an amazing variety of food. Block parties are an enjoyable social event.

One Pot Creamy Mushroom And Spinach Pasta

The 5 couples decided to make a meal using Simple Truth Organic® products. Simple Truth® offers a variety of grocery items and there are endless possibilities of what we can make with the combinations of available options on the shelf. We distributed the menu from appetizer to dessert and beverage. I decided to prepare the main course, One Pot Creamy Mushroom And Spinach Pasta, using Simple Truth Organic®.

I got all my groceries from Kroger banner store Fry’s Marketplace for a great price. For produce, I walked down the produce section and found spinach, mushroom, and herbs on the end cap. You can find Simple Truth Whole Wheat Pasta in the pasta section and for bread, look in the bakery section.

We’re huge fans of snacking. I always keep Simple Truth Salsa, Corn Chips, Banana Chips and Crackers in my pantry as well as on the go bag. These snacks hold us over until our next meal and satisfy those pesky cravings and they taste great. My husband enjoys these at work too.

Being a stay at home mom is big task :). It takes a lot of energy to get all my work done on time. These snacks help me get through my energy slump. It is important that we take care of ourselves, especially as moms,  with nourishing snacks that tide us over during the morning rush. One Pot Creamy Mushroom And Spinach Pasta

When it comes to beverages, my hubby and I are very picky about them. Honest Tea® always stay on top of the list for us and fortunately we always find it in our Kroger banner Fry’s store, so never have to settle for less. Honest Tea always get reserved space in our mini cooler while on the go! We love all the flavors but we’re more inclined to Honey Green Tea, Peach Ginger Tea, and Pomegranate Blue Flavored Herbal Tea. Peach Ginger Tea is unsweetened whereas Pomegranate Blue Flavored Herbal Tea and Honey Green Tea are just a tad sweet.  This product is Fair Trade, Organic and the unsweetened varieties have no added sugar. Isn’t it great!!

Many times when being a mom with tons of responsibilities pushes me down, a sip of Honest Tea revitalizes me and helps me stay active. Please share your experience and how you keep yourself active. You can find all the Honest Tea flavors in Aisle No. 13 in the refrigerator at Fry’s Marketplace.

Honest Tea focuses on Honesty and Transparency even from the way ingredients are presented. It is brewed with real tea leaves, just like you’d make at home and that’s why you can really taste the crisp freshness in every sip. I think this is something to celebrate for this Organic month. I purchased Honest Tea at Fry’s where I can always find a good deal, perfect for stocking up for a month.

This recipe looks delicious. I’ve yet to see Simple Truth products in my area. Is 2 strings equivalent to 2 teaspoons.? Thanks.

Yes, two strings are equivalent to 1 to 1/2 tsp.
Let me know how it turns out once you try. 🙂

Thanks! You can use the same amount of coconut cream instead of Heavy cream and 2 tbsp nutritional yeast instead of parmesan cheese. I hope this helps. 🙂
