Instant Pot Shahi Chhole

Instant Pot Shahi Chhole

It is rich, little-bit sweet, spicy and sour, and its gravy has been enriched with Coconut Milk, Dairy-Free Yogurt, and cashew-raisin paste and basic Indian spices.

I have made this Shahi Chole in Instant Pot. If you don’t have Instant pot, you may make it in a pan too.

I will share both the ways on the recipe card.

This recipe is different from regular Chole. It is so easy and tastes wonderful with Naan, Rice, Roti, and Paratha.

Instant Pot Shahi Chhole

Instant Pot Shahi Chhole

How Cool Is That!! Now that’s what we call the power of plant-based nutrition! My son loves their Chocolate and peach flavor dairy-free yogurts. 🙂

I found Silk Original Coconutmilk in Dairy section and Silk Plain Almond Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative in yogurt section at my local Walmart.

If you remember my Vegetable Thai noodle Soup post where I have mentioned about my 2018 resolution – More plant Based and Less-dairy meal.

So far health-wise, My 2018 has been going really well!!

I have been using more plant-based and less-dairy products and ingredients that offer good nutrition.

Instant Pot Shahi Chhole

Silk has made it easier for us to make better choices. Their products are not just delicious but also wholesome and make my family feel good.

That is why I really like Silk’s New Progress Is Perfection campaign. Health is hard, but feeling healthier doesn’t have to be.

Silk’s Progress is Perfection campaign fights the notion that “extreme” is the only path to being healthier, small victories are still victories.

That Chhole looks super silky and rich. We south indians love using coconut milk in gravies and also to thicken dishes based of coconut. This is a good choice for vegans. Chhole and rice in a bowl means life is sorted!

A recipe name that begins with the word “instant” instantly resonates with me! I love such quick and easy recipes with big wow factor. These chole must taste creamy rich and royal with coconut milk, cashews and raisins going in. Your clicks are a visual treat too!
